This vibrant Dufftown 9 Year Old is a single cask Speyside malt independently bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd, showcasing the bright, fruit-forward character for which the distillery is renowned. Distilled in 2009 and matured for nine years in Cask #700212, it was bottled in 2019, capturing the individuality and charm of this carefully selected cask.
Young yet remarkably expressive, this whisky highlights the classic Speyside style with layers of fresh fruit, honeyed sweetness, and gentle oak influence. The nose opens with aromas of soft orchard fruits, green grass, warm toast, honey, and ripe melon, creating a fresh and inviting introduction.
On the palate, notes of apricot, vanilla, citrus, and melon are joined by toasted oak, liquorice, blackcurrant, and lively citrus zest. The result is a bright, well-balanced whisky with plenty of character and an approachable, refreshing finish.
