GlenDronach Forgue is a richly sherried 10-year-old single malt Scotch whisky, created as the first-ever GlenDronach expression released exclusively for the Travel Retail market. Named after Forgue, the area in which the distillery was founded, this expression pays tribute to GlenDronach’s deep-rooted heritage and mastery of sherry cask maturation.
Matured for a decade in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, Forgue delivers a bold and indulgent flavour profile. The nose is layered with Seville blood orange, cherry, sweet barley, roasted chestnuts, and cocoa, while the palate unfolds with Valencia orange, blackcurrants, toffee praline, tobacco, nutmeg, and brambles. Rich dried fruits and nutty malt tones carry through to a long, warming finish, underpinned by deep sherry sweetness.
A celebration of GlenDronach’s signature style, Forgue 10 Year Old is a confident, full-bodied single malt, recognised with Gold at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
