GlenAllachie 12 Year Old is the distillery’s flagship single malt and a modern classic, recently crowned World’s Best Single Malt 2025. This unpeated Speyside whisky showcases a bold, cask-driven style, built on a philosophy that exceptional wood is key to outstanding whisky.
Matured in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks alongside new American oak barrels, it delivers a rich and complex flavour profile. Bottled at 46% ABV, it is presented without chill filtration or added colouring, preserving its full character and depth.
On the palate, it offers layers of fruit preserves, Christmas cake, and treacle toffee, complemented by notes of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and warming spice. Savoury hints of stout and dried mushrooms add further complexity, leading into a long, rich and satisfying finish.
