The Matsui Peated Single Malt is a refined Japanese whisky produced by the Kurayoshi Distillery in Tottori Prefecture, an area known for its pristine natural surroundings. Crafted with carefully selected peated malted barley, this expression offers a delicate balance between smoke and sweetness.
Matured in white oak bourbon casks and cut with pure spring water from Mount Daisen, the whisky develops a smooth and harmonious character. The gentle peat influence is thoughtfully integrated, allowing the underlying fruit and oak notes to shine.
On the palate, it reveals soft, earthy smoke alongside notes of vanilla, toasted oak, and fresh apple, creating a well-rounded and approachable profile.
