Released for the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 2026, the Tamdhu Distillery Team Single Cask is a special limited edition selected by the very people who craft Tamdhu whisky every day. Chosen for its outstanding character rather than volume, this exclusive release offers a unique expression of Tamdhu's celebrated sherry-led style.
Distilled in November 2013, Single Cask #2197 matured for 12 years in an American oak Oloroso sherry hogshead before being bottled at a natural 58.9% ABV. Presented with natural colour and without chill filtration, it captures the whisky exactly as the distillery team intended.
The nose is bright and inviting, with aromas of fresh raspberry, golden syrup, hazelnut, and white chocolate. On the palate, vibrant berries and tropical fruits are balanced by gentle spice and the drying influence of Oloroso sherry, leading into a soft, lingering finish of vanilla and crisp red apple.
With just 345 individually numbered bottles released, this is a genuinely limited single cask bottling that can never be replicated once the cask is exhausted.
