Released in March 2023, the whisky was initially matured in American oak bourbon barrels before undergoing an extended finishing period of approximately 18 months in freshly filled virgin Scottish oak casks — a rare and distinctive maturation style.
The influence of new Scottish oak brings subtle yet complex flavour nuances, highlighting the differences between oak species and adding depth to GlenAllachie’s rich Speyside spirit.
