Named in honour of Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka and widely regarded as the father of Japanese whisky, Taketsuru 17 Year Old is an exceptional blended malt that showcases the artistry of Japanese whisky making. Crafted using carefully selected malts from Nikka's Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries, it is celebrated for its remarkable depth, elegance, and balance.

Aged for a minimum of 17 years, this award-winning expression offers a beautifully layered profile. The nose reveals rich aromas of raisins, honey, marmalade, oak, dried fruits, and gentle spice. The palate is full-bodied and complex, with notes of dark berries, blood orange, chocolate, warming spice, and subtle peat, leading to a long finish of vanilla, cocoa, oak, and lingering fruit.
