This exceptional Longmorn 25 Year Old is a rare Speyside single malt, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for its acclaimed Old Particular range. Distilled in December 1994 and bottled in March 2020, it showcases the elegance and complexity that have made Longmorn a favourite among whisky enthusiasts.
Matured in a single refill hogshead, cask #13921, for a full 25 years, the whisky was bottled at its natural cask strength of 60.1% ABV. The result is a wonderfully expressive dram, balancing vibrant fruit with rich oak influence and warming spice.
The nose reveals green apple, fresh pear, fudge, and sweet confectionery notes. On the palate, flavours of candied orange, lemon drops, malted barley, ginger, and cashew nuts lead into a long finish of walnuts, milk chocolate, and coconut.
Presented with natural colour and no chill filtration, this black-label Old Particular release offers the whisky exactly as it left the cask.
With only 242 bottles produced worldwide, this is a highly collectible and increasingly scarce mature Longmorn.
