Lochindaal 2010 10 Year Old (Cask#4348) - Berry Bros. & Rudd
Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout
A rare and heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich Distillery, released under the Lochindaal name and independently bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd.
Lochindaal is one of Bruichladdich’s more elusive peated styles, typically peated to around 50ppm, making it smokier than Port Charlotte while remaining more restrained than Octomore. Bottlings are scarce, making this a particularly sought-after expression.
Distilled in 2010, this whisky was matured for 10 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel (cask #4348) before being bottled at a powerful cask strength of 60.2% ABV.
The profile is bold and characterful, with notes of camphor, damp wool, bonfire ash and fireworks, underpinned by a robust, smoky intensity and coastal influence.
