A vibrant Campbeltown single malt from Glengyle Distillery, this small-batch 8-year-old Kilkerran showcases the distillery’s character in its purest form.
Matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at natural cask strength, this expression highlights the lighter influence of bourbon oak, allowing the spirit’s complexity and texture to shine through. Produced by the Springbank team, Kilkerran is distilled for just a few months each year, adding to its limited and sought-after nature.
The nose reveals aromas of elderflower, heather, vanilla and custard creams, alongside notes of banana sweets. On the palate, flavours of cocoa nibs, pineapple, coconut and digestive biscuits develop, complemented by hints of earthy peat smoke and savoury richness, leading into a long, characterful finish.
