A vibrant and limited-edition release from GlenAllachie, this nine-year-old single malt was distilled in 2012 and showcases the distillery’s flair for bold, wine-led maturation.
Initially aged in ex-bourbon barrels to build a foundation of classic vanilla sweetness and orchard fruit character, the whisky was then transferred for a secondary maturation in European oak wine barriques sourced from Languedoc and Valpolicella, alongside casks from two prestigious Premier Cru Classé châteaux in Bordeaux. The result is a richly layered and characterful dram that balances distillery spirit with indulgent wine cask influence.
