Deanston Virgin Oak, an award-winning single malt Scotch Whisky from the Scottish Highlands. Packed with waxy Highland character, Virgin Oak is a true representation of Deanston distillery in flavour and style.
Deanston Whisky is distilled in a former cotton mill which harnesses the power of its water source, the river Teith, uses 100% local Scottish ingredients and traditional methods to create a uniquely waxy whisky.
Rich flavours of soft honey, zesty oranges & lemons and a subtle dusting of nutmeg for a hint of warm spice.
This one is made up of young whisky which has been finished in brand new oak casks from Kentucky. Gives sweet and spicy finish. These first filled in barrels that have previously matured some of the finest American bourbon, for that classic waxy, citrus character that sets Deanston apart. Then finished for 9-12 months in virgin, American oak barrels.
Enjoy neat or mixed, great in an Old Fashioned.
