Bladnoch Master Distiller's Waterfall Collection Batch #5 2024 Edition

Bladnoch Waterfall Collection 2024 Exclusive Release Batch #5 is the fifth and final chapter in the distillery's acclaimed Master Distiller's Waterfall Collection. Produced at Scotland's southernmost distillery in the Lowlands, this limited edition celebrates Bladnoch's commitment to innovative cask maturation, with just 1,000 bottles released worldwide.

After an undisclosed period of maturation, the whisky was finished in a second-fill Oloroso sherry puncheon, adding elegant layers of dried fruit, gentle spice, and rich oak while allowing the distillery's delicate Lowland character to shine. Bottled at 47.7% ABV, it is presented without chill filtration or added colouring, preserving its natural flavour and texture.

The result is a beautifully balanced single malt, offering notes of dried fruits, toffee, toasted nuts, baking spice, and soft vanilla, complemented by subtle sherry sweetness and a long, warming finish. As the concluding release in the Waterfall series, Batch #5 is both a rewarding dram and a highly collectible addition for Bladnoch enthusiasts.
