Matured for 12 years in a combination of bourbon barrels, sherry casks and Marsala wine casks, The Smoky Twelve benefits from three complementary styles of maturation. Bourbon oak contributes smooth vanilla sweetness, sherry casks add dried fruit and warming spice, while Marsala wine casks introduce a rich, indulgent fruit character. These influences are expertly married to create a full-bodied single malt with remarkable depth and balance.
