A limited-edition Speyside single malt distilled in 2008, this expression highlights Tomintoul’s smooth house style with an elegant White Port cask finish. Initially matured in ex-bourbon American oak, it is then finished in specially selected White Port barriques sourced from Portugal by Master Distiller Robert Fleming.
This finishing period imparts a rich, fruity character, layering the whisky with notes of dried fruit, candied orange peel, apricot and caramelised apple, alongside hints of vanilla, honeysuckle, toasted oak and gentle spice. The result is a sweet, rounded and complex dram that balances freshness with depth.
Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and of natural colour, this is a refined and characterful limited release showcasing the influence of White Port cask maturation.
