Tomatin 2006 - Fino Sherry Cask Finish - UK Exclusive

Bottled exclusively for the UK, this limited-edition Tomatin is a rare vatting of just two casks (39350 & 39351), distilled on 10 November 2006 and matured in traditional oak before being transferred to Spanish Fino sherry butts on 12 November 2015. The result is a distinctive single malt that beautifully marries Tomatin's fruity Highland character with the bright, savoury elegance of Fino sherry.

The carefully selected casks originate from Jerez, Spain, where Fino sherry is produced from Palomino Fino grapes grown on the region's famous albariza soils. Their influence brings delicate nutty complexity, complementing Tomatin's signature malty sweetness and fresh fruit character.

The nose reveals baked apple, almond cake, toffee sauce, and lemon zest, while the palate develops layers of roasted nuts, freshly baked sourdough, olive oil, gentle baking spice, and ripe orchard fruit. The finish is silky, fresh, and beautifully balanced, with lingering savoury notes.
