Tomatin 2001 UK Exclusive Single Cask #34872 is a rare Highland single malt, selected by Master Distiller Graham Eunson from a single Pedro Ximénez sherry butt. Distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2022, this expression was matured entirely in a PX cask, imparting remarkable richness and depth.
Bottled exclusively for the UK at a natural cask strength of 57.4% ABV, the release yielded between 657 and 678 bottles from cask #34872. This limited edition exudes indulgent notes of maple syrup and rum-soaked sultanas, layered with dark chocolate and espresso. The palate develops into cherry, plum liqueur and Jamaican ginger cake, culminating in a finish that balances sweetness with a gentle, bittersweet edge.
