A beautifully matured island single malt from Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull, this impressive 23-year-old expression showcases the rewards of patience and extended ageing.
Originally released as part of the popular Tobermory 15 Year Old expression in 2008, this parcel has since enjoyed several additional years of maturation, allowing its character to deepen and evolve. After ageing in refill hogsheads, the whisky was treated to a finishing period in Gonzales Byass sherry casks, introducing an extra layer of richness and complexity to the spirit.
The result is a refined yet characterful dram, where Tobermory’s distinctive island style is enhanced by the sweet, nutty influence of quality sherry wood.
