The long maturation in European oak enhances the rich flavours of decadent fruitcake and distinct spice tones, while American oak influence dovetails beautifully providing the sweeter notes of honey and vanilla.
Tasting notes:
Heather honey and ripening citrus fruits with vanilla and cinnamon. Figs and dates follow, with hints of warm baked fruit cake served with afternoon tea. A sweet, fruity finish is gently wrapped in soft oak.
