Created to celebrate the historic Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022, this special commemorative release honours Her Majesty's remarkable 70-year reign with a limited-edition single malt from The English Distillery.
Crafted from a carefully selected combination of ex-bourbon, virgin oak, red wine, and quarter casks, the whisky showcases the distillery's expertise in marrying different cask styles to create a balanced and approachable expression. The result is a fresh, unpeated single malt with excellent depth and character.
On the nose and palate, notes of toasted almonds, crisp green apples, and creamy milk chocolate are complemented by gentle oak influence. The finish is clean and refreshing, with lingering sweetness and a crisp, fresh oak character.
Presented in a specially engraved commemorative bottle, this release was produced in strictly limited numbers, with just 3,000 bottles available worldwide and only 1,200 allocated to the UK, making it both a fitting tribute and a highly collectible keepsake.
