This eight-year-old whisky was matured before being finished in stone-spun and lightly re-toasted casks, where the original char had been worn down by natural elements. This unusual process brings a unique twist to Talisker’s classic maritime character.
Bottled at a powerful 58.7% ABV, the whisky delivers Talisker’s signature coastal peat smoke, alongside notes of poached pears and crisp green apples, evolving into seaweed, salt spray and freshly cracked black pepper.
