Smokehead 15 Year Old is a bold and mature Islay single malt, delivering the brand’s signature punchy peat smoke with added depth and complexity from extended ageing. After 15 years in cask, this limited release reveals a richer and more layered side of Smokehead’s rebellious character.
The nose opens with powerful peat smoke, seaweed, and hints of iodine, balanced by herbal notes of rosemary and thyme. On the palate, waves of toffee, spice, citrus, vanilla, and coastal salt create a full-bodied and muscular whisky with unmistakable Islay intensity.
The finish is exceptionally long, carrying lingering notes of lemon zest, sea spray, and smouldering smoke long after the last sip.
