Macallan Edition No.3

The third release in The Macallan's celebrated Edition Series, Macallan Edition No. 3 is a distinctive 2017 limited edition created through a collaboration between Master Perfumer Roja Dove and Macallan's Master Whisky Maker, Bob Dalgarno. Bringing together the worlds of fine fragrance and whisky making, Dove applied his exceptional understanding of aroma to help shape an expression of remarkable depth, balance and complexity.

Matured in a carefully selected combination of European and American oak casks, Edition No. 3 offers an elegant interplay of sweet fruit, vanilla, fresh-cut oak and delicate floral notes. Aromas of citrus, ginger and warm spice develop into a richly layered palate of orchard fruits, vanilla and subtle oak, leading to a long, sweet and fruity finish.

Bottled at 48.3% ABV, this discontinued release forms part of The Macallan's acclaimed six-part Edition Series, making it an appealing addition for collectors seeking to complete the collection or acquire one of the distillery's most distinctive collaborations.
