The Macallan AERA Black is a single malt whiskey inspired by the important milestones in life and specially crafted to celebrate and commemorate these moments. Matured in the highest quality sherry oak casks, it has a natural nectar colour. Released in 2018.
Matured predominantly in sherry-seasoned oak casks.
Nose: Rounded and well balanced with vanilla notes, candied dried fruits, orange peel and sweet citrus
Palate: Hints of chocolate, dried fruit, smooth honey with a sweet citrus burst.
Finish: Medium to long, with lingering vanilla and a gentle warmth.
