Ledaig (Tobermoray) Distillery 10 Year Old 2011 Rare Find - Gleann Mor

Distilled in 2011 at Tobermory Distillery, this 10-year-old Ledaig was independently bottled by Gleann Mòr Spirits as part of its acclaimed Rare Find series. Finished in a first-fill Oloroso quarter cask, this limited release marries Ledaig's unmistakable peated Island character with the rich influence of sherry oak, creating a bold and intensely flavoured single malt.

The nose opens with distinctive tarry peat smoke, complemented by generous aromas of dried fruits, Christmas cake, and toasted nuts. On the palate, rich dark chocolate intertwines with earthy peat smoke, while herbal notes, hints of menthol, maritime salinity, and tobacco leaf add impressive depth and complexity. The finish is long and warming, with lingering dark fruits, sherry sweetness, and enduring medicinal smoke.
