Lagavulin 16 Year Old is one of the world’s most iconic Islay single malts and the flagship expression of the legendary Lagavulin Distillery. Revered by whisky enthusiasts and often described as "the King of Islay", it has become the benchmark by which richly peated Scotch whiskies are judged.

Aged for a minimum of 16 years in oak casks, this classic expression delivers the unmistakable character of southern Islay. Powerful peat smoke is beautifully balanced by layers of dried fruit, vanilla, maritime salt, and a distinctive dryness, with the smoke often compared to the refined character of Lapsang Souchong tea.
