Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14

Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14 is a bold cask-strength Campbeltown single malt from Glengyle Distillery, offering a more intensely smoky take on Kilkerran’s typically lightly peated house style. Produced at around 45PPM, the Heavily Peated series is released in limited batches and showcases the distillery’s character alongside a considerably stronger peat influence.

Batch 14 is matured in a combination of 90% bourbon and 10% sherry casks, with bourbon oak allowing the spirit and peat to remain at the forefront while the sherry component adds extra richness and depth. Expect layers of sweet malt, vanilla and orchard fruit alongside earthy peat smoke, coastal character and warming spice.
