Distilled at the Glenrothes distillery in 1999, this single cask single malt spent nearly two decades maturing in cask #8168 before being bottled in 2018 at natural cask strength (58.9% ABV). Limited to just 277 bottles, it offers a distinctive glimpse into the character of this celebrated Speyside distillery.
The nose opens with grapefruit and ripe stone fruits, while the palate develops rich notes of dark cherry, almonds and sweet malt. Hints of barley sugar, vanilla and orange marmalade add depth, leading to a long and vibrant finish.
