GlenAllachie 11 Year Old Palo Cortado Sherry Cask Matured is a distinctive release from the distillery’s Wood Collection, showcasing the influence of one of the rarest styles of sherry. Palo Cortado combines the elegance of Amontillado with the richness of Oloroso, bringing both finesse and depth to the maturation process.

This expression has been matured in a combination of puncheons and hogsheads that previously held Palo Cortado sherry, allowing the whisky to develop a complex and layered character. The result is a well-balanced single malt that highlights both the spirit and the unique cask influence.

On the palate, it reveals notes of ripe plums, dark mocha, and warming cinnamon spice, delivering a rich and flavourful profile with depth and structure. Bottled at 48% ABV, it is presented with natural colour and without chill filtration, preserving its full character.
