A bold and inventive small batch release, Glen Moray Peated Tequila Cask Finish brings together gentle Speyside smoke and the subtle sweetness of tequila cask maturation. Part of the Warehouse 1 series, this expression highlights the distillery’s experimental approach to flavour.
Initially matured in bourbon casks, the whisky is then finished in carefully selected casks from Mexico that previously held tequila. The result is an intriguing balance of dark chocolate, delicate rose notes and lightly smoked fruit, underpinned by Glen Moray’s softly peated character.
Bottled at a natural cask strength of 58.5% ABV and non-chill filtered, this release delivers intensity alongside finesse, offering both power and elegance in equal measure.
