Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout
A distinctive peated single malt from France, created by Les Whiskies du Monde to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary. The Évadé name comes from the French word for “flight”, reflecting the brand’s adventurous approach to whisky making.
Crafted exclusively from French barley, the spirit is double distilled in traditional Charentais pot stills – equipment more commonly associated with Cognac and Armagnac production. The whisky is matured in a mix of first- and second-fill bourbon casks alongside new American oak barrels, developing additional depth and sweetness during its maturation.
The peat used in production is sourced from Hamburg and peated to around 35ppm, contributing an elegant smoky character with subtle botanical qualities. The whisky itself is aged between four and seven years before bottling.
The aroma and palate reveal floral peat smoke, caramel custard and vanilla, alongside notes of heather honey, pressed flowers, forest botanicals, toffee, chopped herbs and lightly charred oak. Bottled at 43% ABV, it offers a balanced, gently smoky profile with a pleasing floral complexity.
