Dumbarton 20 Year Old 2000 is a rare Lowland single grain whisky, distilled in November 2000 at the now-closed Dumbarton distillery and bottled in 2021 by Douglas Laing for their prestigious Private Stock series.
Matured for 20 years in a single refill hogshead, this single cask release yielded just 224 bottles. Bottled at its natural colour and cask strength of 59.5%, it offers an authentic and undiluted expression of this lost distillery’s character.
Presented at 700ml and drawn from one carefully selected cask, this limited Private Stock release is a scarce opportunity to experience a mature Dumbarton grain whisky — a distillery now consigned to history, captured in just 224 bottles.
