Caperdonich 22 Year Old 1997 (Cask #19130) is a rare single malt release from the Lady of the Glen range by Hannah Whisky Merchants, offering a scarce opportunity to experience whisky from a lost Speyside distillery. Founded in 1898, Caperdonich was closed in 2001 and later demolished in 2011, its light, floral and creamy spirit now consigned to history.
Distilled on 27th August 1997, this expression was fully matured in a single bourbon barrel (cask #19130) for 22 years before being bottled at natural cask strength on 24th July 2020. Just 171 bottles were produced from this cask.
Amber in hue and rich with heritage, this limited release captures the character of a vanished distillery — a true piece of whisky history and a prized addition to any serious collection.
