Caol Ila 19 Year Old Cask Strength Tequila Edition – DS Tayman is a highly limited single cask Islay single malt, bringing together Caol Ila’s signature coastal smoke with the vibrant influence of a Tequila cask finish. Initially matured in a bourbon barrel before being finished in a Tequila barrel, this distinctive 19-year-old expression was bottled at cask strength of 50.5% ABV, with an outturn of just 197 bottles.

The Tequila finish adds a fresh and tropical dimension to Caol Ila’s classic maritime style. Notes of juicy pineapple and tropical sherbet mingle with gentle BBQ smoke, subtle char and fresh agave, creating an unusual yet beautifully balanced combination of sweetness and peat. The finish is long and vibrant, with lingering tropical fruit, delicate embers and a refreshing agave character.
