BenRiach The Twelve is a richly layered Speyside single malt, created as part of the distillery’s 2020 core range relaunch. Matured for at least twelve years in a combination of sherry casks, bourbon barrels and port casks, it delivers a smooth and well-balanced whisky with impressive depth.
Each component is matured separately before being expertly married together, resulting in a harmonious profile that showcases both fruit and spice.
The influence of these three cask types brings forward notes of dried fruit, baked apple and sultanas, complemented by maple honey, cocoa and gentle spice. Subtle hints of coffee and mocha add further complexity, leading into a smooth, lingering finish.
A versatile and approachable Speyside malt, offering a modern take on classic sherried whisky with added richness from its triple cask maturation.
