Balblair 18 Year Old Marsala Finish is an exceptional Highland single malt independently bottled by Whisky Craft. Matured for 18 years with an extended finish in Marsala wine casks and bottled at a natural cask strength of 54.1% ABV, this exclusive release is limited to just 254 bottles worldwide.
The influence of the Marsala cask adds remarkable richness and complexity to Balblair's elegant, fruit-driven spirit. The nose opens with bright citrus zest, orange peel, and soft waxy sweetness, layered with savoury meatiness, toffee, sweet spice, and hints of star anise. On the palate, notes of cane sugar and vibrant red fruits develop into darker berry richness, while gentle oak spice adds depth and structure. A short, peppery finish with charred oak leaves a lingering sweetness that invites another sip.
