Ardbeg Drum Limited Edition was released for Ardbeg Day during Fèis Ìle 2019, celebrating the Islay distillery’s annual festival in bold and flamboyant style. This limited-edition single malt was matured in ex-bourbon casks before being rested in ex-rum casks, creating a distinctive fusion of smoky intensity and tropical sweetness.
The nose bursts with ripe banana, pineapple, cocoa and woodsmoke, while hints of fresh ginger, cinnamon and lavender gently emerge. On the palate, black pepper, ginger, clove and liquorice mingle with dark chocolate, rich peat smoke and creamy vanilla.
