Bottled just over 3 years old, capturing the moment Annandale’s spirit first became Single Malt Scotch Whisky for the first time in 100 years.
Tasting Notes:
Soft log-fire smoke, toasted biscuit and Darjeeling tea, opening to nectarine, melon, and mango. Creamy vanilla, honey and burnt orange with resinous wood. Long, sweet finish with returning peat smoke and leather.
About the Distillery:
Annandale Distillery, founded in 1836 and revived in 2007, crafts both peated “Man O’ Sword” and unpeated “Man O’ Words” whiskies. Known for copper pot stills, historic stone buildings and bold Lowland character.
