Tamdhu Quercus Alba Distinction Release 2 is a limited-edition Speyside single malt celebrating the influence of first-fill American white oak Oloroso sherry casks. Created to showcase the distinctive character of Quercus Alba oak, this release offers whisky enthusiasts a unique opportunity to explore the softer, sweeter style of American oak maturation alongside Tamdhu’s signature sherried richness.

The journey begins in the oak forests of North America before the casks are transported to Spain’s famous “sherry triangle,” where they are crafted, toasted, and seasoned with Oloroso sherry over a six-year process. This careful preparation imparts exceptional depth, sweetness, and natural colour to the whisky.

Matured entirely in these specially prepared first-fill American oak sherry casks, the spirit develops rich fruity flavours, warming spice, and a smooth, elegant texture with a vibrant amber hue.
