The GlenAllachie Sinteis Series Part 4 – 2015 Mongolian Virgin Oak, Pedro Ximénez & Oloroso Sherry Cask Matured is an innovative Speyside single malt showcasing Billy Walker's renowned approach to wood management. Sinteis (pronounced sin-teesh), meaning "synthesis" in Scottish Gaelic, celebrates the marriage of distinctive oak types to create complex and characterful expressions.

Unlike previous Sinteis releases, Part 4 follows a different maturation journey. Distilled in 2015, the whisky spent time in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks before being transferred into rare Mongolian virgin oak. Known for its exceptionally tight grain and elegant spice, the Mongolian oak adds another dimension to the rich, fruit-forward influence of the sherry casks.

The combination creates a beautifully layered profile, with baked orchard fruits, dark chocolate and butterscotch complemented by candied nuts, warming spice and rich sherried sweetness. The Mongolian oak brings an elegant spicy character, balancing the richness of the PX and Oloroso casks and leading to a long, warming finish.

Bottled at a powerful cask strength of 58.5% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration, this distinctive release captures The GlenAllachie's commitment to combining traditional sherry maturation with innovative and unusual oak.
