Blanton's Single Barrel Bourbon Original

First introduced in 1984, Blanton’s Original Single Barrel was the world’s first commercially released single barrel bourbon, setting the standard for the category and becoming one of the most recognised names in American whiskey.

Each bottle is drawn from an individual barrel sourced from the centre-cut sections of the famous Warehouse H at the Buffalo Trace Distillery. Historically, these select barrels were reserved for ambassadors, dignitaries and Colonel Albert B. Blanton’s close family and friends before the bourbon was made available to a wider audience.

The nose reveals ripe fruit, citrus and dry spice, layered with notes of creamy vanilla, caramel and butterscotch. On the palate, the bourbon is full-bodied and warming, offering flavours of oak, chocolate, toffee and beeswax, alongside classic baking spices such as cinnamon, clove, cardamom and ginger.
