Togouchi 15 Year Old

Togouchi 15 Year Old is an elegant Japanese-style blended whisky, combining Scottish malt and Canadian grain whiskies before blending, maturation, and bottling take place in Japan. Aged for 15 years in bourbon barrels, the whisky is matured in Togouchi's distinctive former railway tunnel, located around 70km from the Sakurao Distillery. Its naturally cool temperature and high humidity create stable maturation conditions, helping produce Togouchi's characteristically delicate and refined style.

Composed of approximately 20% malt whisky, this expression offers delicate aromas of yellow fruits, dried apricot, green apple, vanilla, and citrus oil, accompanied by gentle sweet spice. The palate is smooth and balanced, developing notes of dark chocolate, toasted hazelnuts, soft oak, and orchard fruit, before a light and elegant finish with lingering vanilla and spice.

Blended by Sakurao Distillery, Togouchi 15 Year Old combines international whisky components with a distinctly Japanese approach to blending and maturation, resulting in a sophisticated and beautifully balanced aged whisky.
