Macallan Concept Number 3

The Macallan Concept Number 3 is the third and final release in The Macallan's distinctive three-part Concept Series, launched in 2021 exclusively for the global travel retail market. Created in collaboration with renowned graphic designer David Carson, this limited edition brings together the worlds of whisky making and contemporary design. Working alongside Macallan Whisky Maker Polly Logan, Carson drew inspiration from the distillery's Speyside estate, its craftsmanship and his own distinctive artistic style to create a striking visual identity celebrating creativity and individuality.

Matured in a carefully selected combination of first-fill sherry butts, ex-bourbon barrels, and refill and virgin American oak casks, Concept Number 3 offers a vibrant and beautifully balanced character. Aromas of fresh pear, apricot, vanilla and sweet citrus mingle with warming cinnamon and ginger, developing into a rich, creamy palate of orchard fruits, gentle oak spice and delicate herbal notes. The finish is medium-sweet, with lingering hints of soft pastry and warming spice.
