Named after Masataka Taketsuru, the father of Japanese whisky, this exceptional Pure Malt marries the smoky power of Yoichi with the elegance of Miyagikyo, creating a whisky of remarkable balance and depth.

Aged for a minimum of 21 years, it achieved worldwide recognition after being named World’s Best Blended Malt Whisky on multiple occasions and is widely regarded as one of the finest Japanese whiskies ever released.

Rich aromas of toffee, cocoa, espresso beans, and maple syrup lead into a complex palate of dried fruits, dark chocolate, bitter orange, gentle smoke, and warming oak spice. The finish is long, smooth, and beautifully layered.
