A richly flavoured Highland single malt from Glengoyne, released as part of the Spirit of Oak collection and originally created for the travel retail market.
After years of maturation in carefully selected European and American oak casks, a portion of the whisky is chosen for a finishing period in Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks. PX sherry, one of the darkest and sweetest styles produced in southern Spain, brings deep richness and intensity to the whisky.
Maturing in Glengoyne’s traditional stone-built warehouses at Dumgoyne, the PX finish adds layers of sweetness and complexity, resulting in a rich, smooth and endlessly complex Highland single malt.
