Part of The Balvenie Stories collection, The Week of Peat is a 14 Year Old single malt inspired by the tradition of distilling peated spirit for just one week each year — a practice that began in 2002. The project was sparked by the installation of a peat burner at the distillery, introducing a smoky dimension to Balvenie’s classic Speyside style.
Made using Speyside peat, this expression balances fragrant, earthy smoke with the distillery’s signature honeyed sweetness and bright citrus edge. The result is a sweet and smoky whisky that remains unmistakably Balvenie in character.
