Created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Chicago's legendary Delilah's punk rock whisky bar, Compass Box Delilah's XXV is a limited-edition blended Scotch whisky developed in collaboration with owner Mike Miller. Built around a portion of the original Delilah's release that was matured for an additional five years, it also includes sherried whiskies from Linkwood, Teaninich, and an undisclosed distillery, alongside spirit from Miltonduff and grain whisky from Cameronbridge. Bottled in 2018 at 46% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration, only 8,520 bottles were produced.
The nose offers blackberry, butterscotch, Bourbon biscuits, and sweet malt, while the palate delivers layers of sherried malt, chocolate, praline, vanilla, and warming spice. Notes of apricot and crisp green apple emerge on the finish, creating a beautifully balanced whisky with impressive richness and freshness.
Created by John Glaser and Mike Miller, this collectible release showcases Compass Box's renowned blending expertise while paying tribute to one of the world's most iconic whisky bars.
