Campbeltown Loch Blended Malt

A distinctive maritime blended malt from Campbeltown, created by J&A Mitchell of Springbank Distillers Ltd and named after the famous Campbeltown Loch.

This unique expression brings together all five malts from the region’s three distilleries, offering a true representation of Campbeltown’s character in a single dram. The whisky is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, before being vatted and bottled at Springbank Distillery.

The nose opens with a buttery richness and a touch of sea salt, alongside notes of ginger loaf and pecan pie. On the palate, flavours of creamy coffee, salted caramel, date syrup and brown sugar develop, complemented by a gentle hint of peat smoke. The finish sees the smoke build gradually, with a subtle leathery character emerging over time.

A well-rounded and characterful whisky, showcasing the hallmark briny, slightly smoky and sweetly nutty style of Campbeltown malts.
