The sixth release in Wolfburn’s Small Batch series, Batch 318 is a carefully crafted marriage of lightly peated spirit matured in two distinct cask types. One portion spent just over seven years in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts, while the other matured for seven years in first-fill bourbon barrels.
This combination delivers a beautifully balanced whisky, where gentle peat smoke meets rich sherry sweetness and classic bourbon-cask smoothness. The result is a sweet, rounded and sumptuous dram with impressive depth of flavour and harmony throughout.
Produced at Wolfburn Distillery in Thurso, Scotland, Batch 318 is limited to 4,800 bottles.
