This limited edition Wolfburn 7 Year Old Cask Strength showcases the rich character of Scotland's most northerly mainland distillery. Matured for over seven years in a combination of ex-Oloroso sherry casks and ex-bourbon quarter casks, it delivers exceptional depth, balance, and flavour.
The combination of sweet sherry influence and active bourbon wood creates a wonderfully rounded whisky. Bottled at its natural cask strength of 58.2% ABV, it offers an intense yet remarkably smooth drinking experience.
The nose opens with aromas of vanilla, toffee, caramel, and sweet sherry notes. On the palate, layers of chocolate truffles, sticky toffee pudding, dried fruits, and gentle peat smoke emerge, creating a rich and indulgent dram. The finish is long and warming, with lingering notes of caramel, demerara sugar, oak spice, and soft smoke.
